Welcome!

This blog is dedicated to my Finding Anna series, and it's characters. I've developed it to be an interactive resource for my readers. Take a look around. Visit the playroom. Get to know each of the characters and even ask them questions. Above all...enjoy!

Need Available For Pre-Order

I know you all are super excited for the release of Need: Finding Anna Book 2. We are just over a month away and I can't wait.

The last few months I've been working with my editor to tweak and make Need the best it possibly can be for all the readers out there who can't wait to see what's in store next for Stephan and Brianna. It's been a lot of hard work but hopefully you will agree it was worth it.

We just put the finishing touches on the cover this week, and am excited to share with you.   What do you think?

For all of you who read Slave, you know Stephan and Brianna were left at a critical moments in their lives. What will she choose? Will she stay?  Will she go?

Need will answer some burning questions from readers, and hopefully it will leave you with several more.  I've been asked how many books will be in this series.  Right now the plan is for four books, one to be released each year . I know that seems like a long time to many of you but hopefully you'll agree that it will be worth the wait to see where life and love takes these two.

Today,  Need ,  Finding Anna Book 2, is available for for pre-order on the TWCS website. This is for paperback only. E-books will be available for download on the day of release, July 26, 2012.

Need

Good morning! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was mostly spent watching the NFL playoffs with my husband. I love football, american football, and incorporate it into my stories any chance I get. I did get a little writing done on book 2, but writing on the weekends is never overly productive for me.

I did however, have a major break through this weekend. If you follow me on Facebook, you know that I've finally figured out a title for Finding Anna Book 2. My editor was bugging me about writing the summary for the book, but I was hesitent since I didn't have a clue about the title. Usually I work that in the summary somehow, but without knowing it there was no way I could. Turns out, writing the summary was what made everything click. As soon as I'd written the short summary, it was there staring me in the face.

So what is this title you asked? The second book in the series will be called Need: Finding Anna Book 2.

Hopefully I will have the summary and cover for you soon. :)

It's Official!

A lot has been going on since I posted last week. First, and perhaps most important, I started work on Book 2 in my Finding Anna series. :) I know. I'm excited too.

I started work on chapter 3 on Thursday, but have had to put it on the back burner for a while until I am through the edits for my next romantic suspense novel, Behind Closed Doors, that comes out in January. Hopefully I'll be able to get a few worked while I'm going through my January novel, but after November 19th, I will be moving full speed ahead with book 2 of this series.

A few other things have been going on this past week I'd like to tell you about. I'm now a contributing author to a blog titled 'The Playroom'. It is a collection of authors who write BDSM themed stories. We are just getting started, but there have already been some great posts so far. I hope you will all stop by and check it out. http://bdsmauthorsplayroom.blogspot.com/

As my first contribution to 'The Playroom' blog, I've been working on an interview with Stephan. It is planned to post Tuesday of next week. I've had a lot of fun putting it together, and I think it will give you more of an insight into Stephan's character.

I am also still open for suggestions on who you see as Ian. Is there an actor or model out there that you can see as that character? If you click on his tab at the top of the blog, you'll see some of his specifics. This is your chance to contribute. Don't be shy. :)

Book 2

With Slave finally in the hands of readers, I've had quite a few questions regarding the next book. I thought this would be a good time to answer them. :)

The most common question I get is when will the next book be out. I know that I'm an indie author, but I'm going traditional on this. One book in this series will be released per year until it's done. So unfortunately, that means that book 2 will be available next year sometime in the summer months. I don't have an exact release date from my publisher yet.

Have you started writing the second book yet?
Yes, I have. Roughly a quarter of the second book is written, although it is in draft form and is subject to any number of changes that flutter through my mind between now and when I hand it off to my editor.

What can you tell us about book 2?
lol. Not much. I don't write from an outline as many authors do, so a lot of my writing is a surprise to me until just before it finds its way on paper. I know where the book will start and where it will end. I know some of the basic themes that will be in there...but that's about it.

Does book 2 have a title, yet?
No, it doesn't. I've been throwing some ideas around, but so far nothing had really hit me as feeling right yet. When I thought of the title for the first book, Slave, it just settled in and felt right. I'm sort of a 'know it when I see' it type of a girl. ;)

Why was Slave listed as erotica when it is more of a romance?
What does this have to do with book 2, you may wonder? Everything! lol. My publisher is listing the 'series' as erotica, not the individual book. It wouldn't have been fair to list Slave as romance and then all the additional books in the series as erotica. And yes, I do think that book 2 will earn the erotica rating. Things should be heating up a little between Stephan and Brianna in the next one.

Hopefully this answered some questions out there. Remember if you have questions for me, Stephan, or Brianna, click on the Formspring link in the left column and leave me a question.
